aMarried in Chenoa.■ Mr. H. C. Thompson,of Brainard, Kas., and Miss Grace Klder wiw married last evening at S o’clock at the home of the bride's father. Dr. Charles S. Elder, inChenoa. Rev. William Steele, of Normal,performed the ceremony of the Episcojialchurch which united the young couple in lasting lxnds. The bride and maid of honor. Miss Edith Elder, of Jacksonville, were both gowned in light evening dresses and carried orysanthemums. As the bridal patty marched to the parlor Miss Mamie Dilion played a beautiful wedding march from Loehtvngim, on the harp and during the ceremony she softly rendered 4lt;Romance from Schnecker. A wedding supper was served after the ceremony.The bride and groom are both Chenoa people, but of Lite years Mr. Brainard lias resided in Kansas, where he is conducting a grain business.Those present from this city were Mr. H. S. McCurdy, Mr. and Mrs. Guy McCurdy, Mrs. \V. M. Parks. Miss Josephine Elder, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Washburn, Mr. Goodman Feno, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Elder and Mrs. Jane Ranney.
