Letho Knight - Greg Solether say vows at Methodist ChurchMiss Letha Knight became the bride of Greg Solether at 8 p.m. Saturday: May 19. at the P’irst I'nited Methodist Church of Navasota The Rev. V. 0. Blankenship of Daingerfield officiated, and the Rev. Louis Knight, pastor of the church,extended the vows.The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Louis R. Knight, (11 Grimes. Navasota. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Solether, 202 Border, Weslaco,A large spring floral arrangement adorned the front of the church, and spiral candelabras were also used in the decor.Traditional nuptial music provided a setting for theceremony.♦Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose an empire gown of peau de soie and organza featuring long puff sleeves ending in cuffs at the wrists A lace motif adorned the sleeves and lower skirt. Her veil of illusion, held by a flowered crown, extended to chapel length She carried a bouquet ofvellow roses.•e ftMiss Judy Terry of Fairfield served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Becky Solether of Weslaco, sister ofthe groom; Miss Merrie Talleyof Rosenberg, and Miss Debra Terr of Fairfield Bridal attendants wore dress*es of vellow dotted swiss over peau de soie featuring a tiny-floral pattern on the overskirt. The empire bodice had short sleeves Kid gloves completed their attire They carried spring nosegays in pastel colors.Ron Knight of Navasota, brother of the bride was the best man Groomsmen were Hank Payne of La Grange. Bill Rutledge of San Antonio, and Rodney Knight of Navasota,brother of the bride Serving asMrs. Greg Soletherusher was Milton Nielson ofAustin.ReceptionFollowing the ceremony, a reception was given by the bride’s parents at the churchfellowship hallSpring floral arrangements and vellow candles adorned the bride’s and groom’s tables.Houseparty members were Misses Lecia Blankenship, Sue Matula Nan Malavanzas, and Beckv Sebastian.Rehearsal DinnerThe rehearsal dinner, hosted by Mr and Mrs. Thomas Solether of Weslaco, was held at the Briarcrest Country Club in Bryan. Guests included mem-hers of the wedding party.Bridesmaid LuncheonA bridesmaid luncheon was held Friday noon at the Knight home, with Mrs. Knight as hostess.
