Mr. and Mrs Homer A. Smith of Winnsboro announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Janet Lynn, to Russell T Kelley, son of Mr. and Mrs Holand R. Kelley of Stamford. The couple will be married at %pm. July 7 in First Baptist Church, Winnsboro Brownfield and Mrs. Russell S Crownover Jr. of Denton. Renee Brownfield lighted the candles Bestman was the father of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Robert Michael Brown and Mr. Crownover. Warren Edward Miller of Austin seated the guests The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a candlelight gown of organza and lace with Victorian neckline and full bishop sleeves cuffed with lace. A Dior bow held the sheer chapel train. Her cathedral veil of im ported English illusion was held by a cap of matching lace. Attendants wore gowns in spring colors with high waists, scoop necklines and full length sleeves The reception was held at Stamford Country Club and was hosted by the bride’s parents. The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the bridegroom, was also held at Stamford Country Club Following a wedding trip, the couple will live at 2606 Wireless Lane, Austin, where both are special education majors at The University of Texas. Mr. and Mrs. High are graduates of Stamford High School and he is employed at Austin State Hospital as a child care worker
