Georgianna Geary, Donald Higgins Are United In MarriageMiss Georgianna Marie xGeary daughter of Mrs. Maurice Geary of Meservey Hill became the bride of Donald Towner Higgins son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard B. Higgins of, Hanover Street, Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at the Immaculate Conception Church.The Rev. Francis J. O'Meara conducted the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with white carnations.Given in, marriage by her brother Frank J. Geary, the bride was gowned in white Chantilly lace fashioned with bodice designed with illusion neckline and long pointed sleeves. Her bouffant skirt of nylon tulle over satin fell into a eathedral-length train. Her fingertip veil of nylon tulle was caught up to a tiara of seed pearls. Her only jewelry was a strand of pearls, gift of the groom. She carried a white orchid centered on a prayer book,Mrs. James M. McMullen of Buffalo, attended her sister as matron of honor. She chose a bal-lerina-length gown with strapless bodice of lace and portrait stole. Her bouffant skirt was of white nylon net and white lace over yellow taffeta. She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow and white carnations.The groom was attended by John Intino of Utica, with Frances Bohne and Robert Fortner of Wellsville as ushers.The bride’s mother wore a beige print dress of ehantung with navy accessorires complemented by a corsage of pink roses. The mother of the groom chose powder blue nylon with navy accessories and a corsage of red roses.Leo Finn sang “On This Day,y and “Oh, Beautiful Mother”, accompanied by Mrs. Joseph Serlo, organist.Following a wedding breakfast at the Picket Fence, a’ receptionwas held from t to 5 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post for about 175 guests ,x Those serving as assisting hostesses were the Misses Catherine, Connie and Loretta Lee, Eleanor Schwalb, Shirley Armour, Coleen O’Connor and Shirley Colligan and Mrs. Jamfcs Stevens, all of Wellsville.The three-tiered wedding cake was topped by a miniature bride and groom centered with garden flowers.Out of town guests attended from Utica, Buffalo, Rochester, Belmont and Canandaigua,* and from Huntington, Ind., Norfolk, Va. and Port Allegany and Bradford, Pa,Following the reception the couple left for a wedding trip to Virginia Beach, Va.They will be at home at 292 Dyke Street after June 6,The bride, a graduate of the Immaculate Conception School and Wellsville Central School, will continue to be employed by the New York Telephone Company. The groom is a graduate of Wellsville Central School and has just returned from Europe after two years of service with the US Army. He will be employed by the Air Preheater Corporation.Among pre-nuptial events honoring the bride were a personal showers given by Miss Catherine Lee and the Mesdames .Chester and J. M. ]Lee; a kitchen shower by Miss Eleanor Schwalb and a dinner party at’ the Elks Club byco-workers * at the Telephone Company office. The parents of the groom gave a rehearsal party before the wedding.\
