These Allied soldiers were liberated from a' prisoner of war hospital in Heppenheim, Germany, after capture of the town by troops of the Seventh U.S. Army. Most of the wounded were Americar/v, but French, Czech. Polish, Canadian and British troops were also Included in the group. Heppenheim is 12 miles east of the Rhine River.—V.S.
