MoravfcMyers-Davis Nuptials On May 20IsSidney, Nebr.*—Misa Charlene Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Davis, became the bride of Captain Joseph Myers of Detroit, Michigan, in a ceremony performed at the Methodist church in Sidney on Sunday, May 20th at 4 o’clockC. m. The Rev. George A. Schwa* a uer officiated at the single ting ceremony. Nuptial music wa9 fur- j d nished by Mrs. Harold W. Ellis, CIrrwho played the Lohengrin and Mendelsohn Wedding Marches on thepipe organ. Miss Kathryn Ells sang, I Love You Truly,” and “AhSweet Mystery of Life.”White snapdragons, purple atat-tie and white satin ribbons decorated the Altar rail and pedestals.Mrs, William Davis of Morrill, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor and Captain Benjamin Snyder, of the Sioux Ordnance Depot, served as best man. Major Jerry Murray and Captain Chris Weideburg, both of the Sioux Ordnance Depot, were ushers.The bride, given in marriage by her-father, wore a mandarin suit in mauve shade, with which she wore white accessories, and a white orchid corsage. She carried a white prayer book .with a white orchid bouquet. Her matron of honor wore a gold colored suit with brown accessories and a corsage of white gardenias.Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Officers Club at the Sioux Ordnance Depot. The beautifully decorated three tier weding cake was topped with a miniature wedding bell.The ceremony was attended by the bride's family, officers and their wives from the Sioux Ordnance Depot and other friends of the bride and groom. Mrs. Charles Gardner of Denver and Mrs. William Davis of Morrill, were out of town guests,Mt3. Myers is a graduate of Sidney High school,-class of 1986, and attended Chadron State Normal School, receiving her degree of Bachelor of Science there. She was affiliated with Alpha Phi Pi sorority. For the past four years, she has been teaching in the Frances Willard school in Sidney.Captain Myers ia a graduate of the Cuba, Missouri high school and Detroit University Law School. He was stationed with the Army Ordnance at the Sioux Ordnance Depot for two and a half years before being transferred to Detroit, Mich,, in December last year.
