❖ V V Rappaport-Litwin- The marriage of Miss Roslyn Rap-paport of Brooklyn, New York, and Sergeant Fired Litwin of Fort Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Litwin of lola, took place Sunday, May 28, at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. Herman Feldman and Mr. Feldman of Carlyle.: The ceremony was read by Rabbi Jerome Rosen of St. Joseph Mo., before an arrangement of white burning tapers in candelabra and baskets 6f flowers in the living room.The bride, who was given in marriage by Mayer Litwin of Emporia, wore a butcher linen dress of deep blue with a white lace collar and a small white hat with a veil. Hercorsage was of white gladioli. She was attended by Mrs. Dave Mudrtck of Ottawa as matron of honor, who wore a pink sheer dress. Her corsage was of blue sweet peas. Bon Litwin of Chanutc acted as best man for his brother.A wedding tHnner was served following the ceremony. The three tiered wedding cake topped, with a miniature bride and gioom centered the table, with burning tapers and flowers at either side. Only the members of the immediate family were present.Sgt. and Mrs. Litwin left Tuesday morning for Camp Polk, La., where he is stationed.
