Landing -E d wardsMr. Carey Landing, formerly of Whitakers, but now of Roseneath township, and Miss Nellie Edwards, daughter of Mr. T. Edwards, drove to Tar boroevening and were married,and annuonoed the fact on their returnmuch to the surprise of all their friends. They will live with the bride’s parents Mr. and Mrs. J. T .Edwards for a while.Mr. Landing is the son of the late Charles Landing, of Whitakers, but who enlisted in the army some years ago and was sent down to Panama. Some time later he bought himself out of the army and obtained an exemption which has still eighteen months to run. He then became a farmer in this section, settling at Roseneath, and has madegood, so that his prospects are bright.The bride is the daughter of Mr. J. T.
