W eddingsDeiter-SiillShirley Loralne Hill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Hill of Burrton, and Lt, '(jg) Millard Lee Detter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Detter of Nickerson, were married at 8 o’clock Monday night In the Pleasant Grove United Brethren parsonage. Rev. W. S. Luper officiated.Attendants were Anna Lou Johnson of Burrton and Dalton Hill of Burrton, brother of the bride.The bride wore a street-length dress of light blue crepe with black and white accesories and a corsage of roses.Lt. and Mrs, Detter will leave in a few days for California where he will be reassigned. He has been aboard an aircraft carrier the last 14 month* in the Southwest Pacific and arrived last Thursday on leave,Mrs. Detter is a graduate of Haven high school and attended Hutchinson Junior college and Pittsburg State college. The last year she taught at Hunt school and has also taught in other Reno county schools. Lt. Detter attended Hutchinson Junior college and has been in the navy service the last 2 lh years.
