Mrs.Leitner’s is an unusual type of beauty, so striking as to attract the attention of Professor Hen-rich, a noted German painter who recently came to Los Angeles. He chose the young woman as his study for a portrait which he j entitled “Miss Angeleno,” and which has been highly praised by critics. After she had departed, Baker, who is a widower on the sunny side of 45, suddenly packed his trunk and said he was going away for a short time. Baker’s business associates are amazed for he has always been considered a woman hater.
