Burke, 720 West Sixteenth street, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Burke, Rieeville, la., look place at 8:110 a. m. Saturday in St. Mary's churoit, Riverside. The Rev. T. J, Wolfe officiated, unci the St. Mary's high school choir sail}!.Thu bride was given in marriage by her father, and wore a gown of white slimier satin. Thu neckline was finished with a wide bertha collar trimmed with imported iace and send pearls. The bodiee was filled, the sleeves were long und tapered and the full skirt extended into a cathedral length train. She wore a fingertip length veil of imported silk illusion fastened to n tiara of Chantilly lace trimmed with seed pearls. Her bouquet was a cascade arrangement of white orchids and stepha-notis.Miss Eileen Burke, Denver, Colo., sister of the bridegroom, was maid of hunor, and wore a gown, of misty sea-blue taffeta styled with a marquisette yoke and a filled bodice with a drop shoulder effect band of the taffeta. The sktrt was full with a bustle for back Interest, and she wore three-quarter length matching mitts! In her hair was .a tiora of white daisies, and her bouquet was a cascade arrangement of the daisies,Edward Brophy, Riverside, brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were John J. Neils, Taylor-ville, 111., and Lawrence B, Murphy, Davenport.A wedding breakfast was served approximately 50 members of the bridal party, friends, and the immediate families, at 12:30 p. m. in the Rose ruom of the Jefferson hotel in. Iowa City, Ta. A three-tier wedding cake centered the serving table.The couple left on a short wedding trip to an undisclosed destination, and for traveling, the bride chose a flannel suit with a blue and grey pencil stripe skirt and n blue and white striped jacket trimmed with the material used in tho skirt. Her accessories were of navy blue. The couple will be at home after June 18 at 2035 Gaines street, Davenport.-The bride graduated from St. Mary's high school, Riverside, and is also a graduate of the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Iowa City, receiving her B. S, degree from Marycreat college, She Is now on the stuff at Mercy hospital, Davenport.Mr. Burke graduated from the Rieeville high school a'nd St. Ambrose college. He served in the army three years, and is now employed by the Victor Animato-groph Corp. ' ••Out-of-town guests at the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. N.
