Rev. Calvin Schnueker gave a short talk and the evening was spent socially, after which a delicious lunch was served. A gift of silver and various other gifts were given the honorees. Titonka and the surrounding townships should do a.s well, and can if they will but do their best in this drive.Titonka Stores Close 10 to 5 SaturdayAll Titonka retail stores as well as nearly all other business houses will be closed on Memorial Day, Saturday, May 30, from 10 o’clock in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. They will be open Saturday evening as usual.The post office will close at 10 in the morning and remain closed for the balance of the day and evening, The post office lobby will be open but the window will be closed.
