YanBcbber-SltmghWord has been received here of the marriage of Miss Julia EleanoT Slough, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Baldwin of Wellington, to Jack F. VanBebber of Kerrville, son of Mrs. Ila VanBebber of Perry, Okla., which took place Thursday morning at 10 o’clock at the First Baptist church in Wellington with Rev. J. p. Neal, pastor of the church officiating.Miss Mildred Slough, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and mvight Stubblefield of McLean was best man.The bride was given in marriage by her step-father, Mr. J. T. Baldwin.Mrs. VanBebber is a graduate of Wellington High school and Texas Technological college. She has been I teaching for the paBt two years in the McLean High school.Mr. VanBebber has been employed for the past four years with the Phillips Petroleum Co. He is a graduate of Perry High school and Okla. A. and M, college at Stillwater. He is a former wrestling coach and economics assistant at Texas Tech. He holds a world's title for wrestling and winning first place in the Olympics in California in 1932.After a trip to the west coast the couple will be at home in Kerrville.
