Sherry A. LaFleur, Edward J. MenardNORTH ADAMS - Wedding vows were exchanged by Sherry Ann LaFleur, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace K. LaFleur of 16 Blackinton St., and Edward Joseph Menard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Menard of 8 Pinnacle Dr., Adams, May 19 at Notre Dame Church.The 6 p.m. double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. John P. Richards. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Folk music was provided by Thomas Brown.A reception was held at the Green Acres Fireside Inn. Cheshire. Carolyn Mabry of Virginia, sister of the bridegroom, had charge of the guest book.Shelly LaFleur of North Adams, was her sister’s maid of honor. Kim Wilk of North Adams, friend of the bride, Vivian Menard of Adams, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and June Mroz of Adams, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids.Mark Chittenden of Adams, friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Bruce Kopala and Chester Trzcinski, both of Adams and friends of the bridegroom, and Lawrence Menard of Adams, brother of the bridegroom.The bride wore an organza gown with re-embroidered lace and seed pearl appliques, a V-neekline. short sleeves and a chapel-length train.Her matching lace edged finger-tip veil was attached to a reembroidered alencon lace and seed pearl cloche. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, lily of the valley and blue baby’s breath.Her attendants wore voile gowrns with voile capelet collars, flounced hemlines and duny lace trim. The maid of honor was dressed in blue and the bridesmaids ill apricot, mint, and maize.They wore matching picture hats and carried colonial bouquets of pastel daisies and pompons with baby’s breath and ribbons dyed to match their gowns.The bride is a medical secretary in the medical records department of North Adams Regional Hospital. Sheis a graduate of Drury High School, and a 1976 graduate of the practical nursing course of McCann School, both in North Adams.The bridegroom, a graduate of McCann School, is employed in the sheet metal department of Sprague Electric Co., North Adams.Mr, and Mrs. Menard will reside at 8 Pinnacle Dr., Adams, after their June 4 return from a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla.
