WEDDING BELLS!Peal Forth Their Merry Chimes at the Home ofJohu H. Manlove and Wife In Honor of the Marriage of Their Daughter, Flora Pearl, to John W. McOrory.(i11The home of John H. Manlove ard wife, near Falmouth, Wednesday evening, was the scene of a most ini | portant event, in which their daughter, Flora Pearl Manlove, and John W. McCrory were the principal figures, it being the eve of their depar- \ ture from single blessedness into married bliss.Precisely at eight o'clock the wedding march, executed on the organ by Mrs. Fred Kemmer, nee Ola Hutchins, was begun and the contracting parties came slowly and gracefully down the winding stairway, attended by Fred Jackson and Miss Emma Brown. The party marched to the center of the handsomely decorated parlor, stopped beneath the lovers’knot and faced the minister, Rev. Blount, of Raleigh, who performed the beautiful Christian marriage ceremony.The bride was dressed in cream brocaded silk with pearl trimmings, carried a boquet of white carnations and presented a sight beautiful to behold, while the groom was set forth in all his manliness in the usual conventional black. Immediately after the ceremony all repaired to the dining room where a supper “fit for the gods” was served in courses. Congratulations took place after the feast. Eighty-five guests w'ere present and the newly married couple were the I recipients of many handsome and useful presents.Among those prrsent from this city were John Griffis and wife, Robert Griffis, Misses Kit Wright and Mol-lie Bottles.The bride is one of Fayette county’s most beautiful and accomplished young ladies, while the groom is a young man of high character.Tne Examiner, together with their host of friends, joins in wishing them , all the blessings this life affords and { may their married life prove one of eternal happiness.
