* Hi *A quiet but pretty wedding, a-midst ft setting of gladioli, iris and pink carnations, took place at 3 o'clock on Saturday, May 20, in Sprague Lutheran Church, when Mary, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. John Nordstrom, was united in marriage with Steve, son of Mr, and Mrs. Paul Zeichmeis-ter. Rev. Uhligh of Roseau. Minn.in. j officiated at the double-ring cere-■ i mony. Soloist Mrs. R. J, Strothers. j was accompanied at the organ !bv Ruth Wesner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wesner.The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a full-length gown of tulle over white satin with a lace fitted bodies. Her headdress was held in place by a shoulder-length veil. She carried a cascade of red roses.The bridesmaids, M3ss Elaine Nordstrom and Miss Emily Zeich-mefsier wore matching street -length dresses of blue organza over satin. They wore-brief headdresses and gloves of the same material. Their bouquets were pink carnations.Best man was Larry Erickson of Winnipeg. Second beat man was Laurence Nordstrom of Ati-fcokn, Ontario.The mother of the bride chose a mauve brocaded sheath with matching jacket while the groom's mother wore a matching mauve flowered dress and dustor, A reception was held in the school auditorium, where approximately 100 guests sat down to a hot dinner served by the ladies of the Women's Institute. Mr. Ross Gray proposed a toast to the bride. A wedding dance was held in the hall at -Middlebro. The happy couple. left for a honeymoon in various points of the United States. Upon their return, they will reside at Atikokap, Ont.Out of town guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nord-srom and family of The Pas; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Nordstrom; Mr. and Mrs, Laurence Nordstrom and Mr, and Mrs. Clarence Nordstrom all of Atikokan; Mrs. Axel Lindquist and girls qf Atikokan; Mr. and Mrs. Gunpar Norberg of St. James; Mr. and Mrs. Don Olson; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olson; Mr. and Mrs. Neil Nordstrom; .Mrs. Ruth Harvie and boys; Mr, and Mrs. Larry Sopiwnyk; Mr. and Mrs. Bill McKay and boys; Mr. and Mrs. Alec Couvier and Miss 'Mary ZedehmeLeier all of Winnipeg; also Mr. and Mrs, Howard Slack.* * *f
