Spring-is performing the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with two large bouquets of yellow and white glad-iolas, candelabra and candles.Two hundred guests were present.Jo Ann Schmidt, friend of the couple of Waterloo, played the traditional wedding march and Mrs. Donald Sage sang ‘Because,” “O Promise Me.” and then ‘‘The Lord’s Prayer” during the ceremony.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an intermission length gown of seal-; loped nylon organza with an | empire bustline trimmed with satin ribbon which fell to the hemline of the sweep. Her imported silk illusion veil fell from a silk organza hat trimmed with pearls. She wore a pearl necklace and earrings and carried an orchid on a white Biblo. all gifts from the groom. She also carried a handkerchief carried by her grandmother Eldridge on her wedding day in 1895.Claudia Jean Eldridge, sister of the bride of Dunkerton. was maid of honor. Dixie Lee Kraft of Waterloo, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. They wore . identical white gowns with necklaces and carried yellow carnations.Robert Eldridge of Dunkerton. brother of the bride, was best man. John Roberson, El-ma. friend of the groom, was groomsman.Ushers were Robert Dreck-man of Lawler, cousin of the groom and Jerry Marken, Waterloo, cousin of the bride.The men in the wedding party wore white dinner jackets with dark trousers and white carnation boutonnieres.The mothers wore blue ensembles with white accessories and pink corsages.A reception for 190 guests was held in the church parlors with Mrs. Willard Walthers. Mrs. Gene Newman, Mrs. Delbert Timson and Mrs. Tom Eldridge as dining room hostesses. Mrs. Larry Luze poured the punch and Mrs. Robert Burman and Mrs. Robert Dreck-man cut the cake. Miss Annet-ta Rohinson poured coffee.The couple took a wedding 'trip to Chicago, 111., and other points. They will be at home at 1002 West 4th, Waterloo, upon their return.The bride is a 1957 graduate of Dunkerton high school and is employed in the offices at Raths, Waterloo. The groom graduated from New Hampton high school in 1957 and is also employed in the offices at Raths.Mrs. Robinson was honored at pre-nuptial showers at Lawler. Waterloo and Dunkerton.Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ward of Spokane, Washington, are spending two weeks here visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tiemessen and Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Ward and other relatives and friends.
