He was sentendfed to the Western Penitentiary for one year, with $5Ifine and the costs, and in passing the sentence the Court declared Coleman s second marriage bigamous and void.Coleman was married to the prosecutrix in 1865, and sometime in last January he married Idella Peterman at Hooversville. The procuring of a marriage license for the latter marriage involved the crime of perjury on Coleman’s part.
