HAPPILY WED.Ctuurtoa Meardon, luwmhlp, Mar-, lies fcdlth Wright of Iowa City.At the residence of the bride last evening, the in art age of Chariest Meardon to Miss Edith Wright was solemnized, Rev, E. N. Barret officiating. The affair tookplace at 7 o'clock before a crowded house of guests.After the ceremony elegant refreshments were served. The bride and groom left for the home of the groom's father, in Scott township, where a grand reception will be held this evening.The bride was a very successful teacher,and a popular young lady in society. The groom is a very prosperous young farmer, and is the proud possessor of one ot Johnson county's richest farms, where Mr. and Mrs. Meardon will make their future home.
