Saturday morning April 7th, Janet Kay, daughter of Mr. amd •Mrs. Arthur Anderson of West Bend, -and Bru'ce Allen Brodk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brock ofWooi'stock, were united ifci marriage in a double ring ceremony. The Reverend G. L. Miiibrath officiated at Ithe ceremony in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at Font Dodge, -The ibride, given in marriage by(her lather, - was attended by her sister, Miss Mainilyn Anderson, as maid of honor, and sister of the groom, Mrs: Gloria Kinselth of Fort Dodge, as tonidesmaid.The mdient Ibride wore a long white gown of parachute silk, embellished with embroidery work and dainty venise lace. Long Ibishop sleeves and a high neckline were accented with lace. A • biib effect icjompiimented the empire bodice. The wedding gown had a detachable dhaipel lengthwateaiu train. A 'half hat of* § r(matching lace and seed pearls iwas completed with elbow-Ieneth illusion veiling. The bride carried a nosegay (bouquet of yellow roses, white daises, and baby breath.The bride’s attendants wore yellow gowns with a gathered bodice and short pufif sleeves accented toy spring green embroidery; a dark [green velvet riibbon accented the empire waist. The attendants carried nosegay bouquets of assorted spring-colored daisies. * 'Waiyne Brodk, brother of the groofm, was bestman and Doug Suihr of Fort Dodge, friend of the wedding couple, served as groomsman. Gene Anderson of \Vinona, Minnesota and Joel Suhr of Port Oodge were ushers.'The groom and (hiss attendants wore jiaw biw tuxedos accented with/velvet fit (the labels and coatv;sleeve Theig^oom had ayellow rose [boutonniere, the attendants had yellow daisy boutonnieres.Miss Jeanette Void, cousin of (the groom, and Larry Ruhnke, icousiin of the bride, were acolytes.Miss Aiisce Moore, friend Of the bride, played the organ and accompanied flute soloist Gene An-deirson, brother of the bride, and vocal soloist, Steve Brom, brother-in-law of the bride. The processional with organ and flute was “Jesu, Joy of My Desiring” the recessional with organ was “Concerto dn G Major - Third Movement.’? • Vocal solos were a folk wedding ihymn and “Wedding Song?*.Personal attendant to the bride was Mrs. Joyce Brom, sister of •the bride. Mrs. Brom also designed and made the wedding banners which were placed in ‘ the •chancel of the ohunch.A noon luncheon was served to 125 guests An the church fellowship hall. The ipumeh was served by Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Dessinger, brother-in-law and lister of the groom, and guests were registered .by Carlene Zin-nei, Mr, and Mrs. Fred Ruhnke were, dining room host and hos tess,The cake was cut and served by the wedding couple to the guests a't the bridal taible.. The igifts, with the assistance of the bride’s attendants, were opened toy the wedding couple.Guests were from various areas of Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri,Following a honeymoon to Orlando, Florida visiting Dlspey World and the Kennedy Space Center, the couple returned to Fort Dodge.
