Mr. And Mrs. Charles Thomas CollierCynthia Holder Weds Charles Thomas CollierMiss Cynthia Jane Holder of Kastman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W Holder, became the bride of Charles Thomas Collier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bennie B. Collier of Perry, at Gresston Baptist Church in Eastman on April 7 at 2:00 P.M. The Reverend T.K. Carroll of Eastman performed the double ring ceremony. i-|:..Glowing yellow tapers and greenery formed the setting for the wedding scene. Two seven branched candelabras and a large basket of yellow daisies, gladiolus, and carnations completed the background.The groom had his father, Bennie B. Collier, Sr., as best man Ushers were Lonnie Cook, Bennie B. Collier, Jr., brother of the groom, and Ted Rente and John Birdsong, brothers-in-law of the groom, all of Perry. David Holt of Hawkinsville, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.Mrs. Donald B. Holt of Hawkinsville, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a dress identical to the bridesmaids and carrieda nosegay of yellow daisies, mums, and carnations. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Otis Kelly of Vidalia, Mrs. Bobby King of McRae, and Mrs. John Birdsong of Perry, sister of the groom. They wore full-length yellow empire-waist dresses of silk organza. The bodice was of white Venise lace featuring cup sleeves over the long yellow sleeves also banded with matching white lace. They all wore yellow hats and carried nosegays of yellow daisies.Little Miss Caran Collier, sister of the groom, was flower girl. She wore a long yellow dress accented with fine white lace at the neck and sleeves and wore a yellow hat identical to the bridesmaids. She carried a white lace basket of yellow mums and rose petals.The bride wore a white gown of silk organza accented with re-embroidered lace at the neck, the empire bodice, and around the deep flounce at the bottom of the gown. The sheer leg-of-mutton sleeves were covered with re-embroidered lace atthe wrists. Her veil of silkillusion was attached to a Camelot cap accented with matching re-embroidered lace and petals of pearls. Her bouquet was of yellow sweetheart roses centered with a white orchid.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Holder chose a leige dress with a matching beige and brown coat, beige accessories, and a white orchid. The groom’s mother wore a green dress with a green brocade jacket, whiteaccessories, and a white orchid.For the reception after the wedding, the refreshment tables were covered with yellow ruffled and fringed tablecloths featuring white frosted and silver wedding bells. The tiered wedding cake was embossed with yellow flowers, featured a winding white and yellow staircase to one side and was topped with a miniature bride and groom. The bridal couple cut the first slice of cake after which the cake was served by Mrs. Roy Hamilton of Vidalia and Mrs. Toby Moore of Atlanta. Punch was served from the crystal bowl by Miss Carol Reeves of Macon, cousin of the bride.Mrs. Ted Rentz of Perry, sister of the groom, kept the birde’s book at a table covered with a yellow fringed tablecloth. She wore a long yellow dress accented with fine white lace at the bodice, neck, and sleeves.For going away, the bride chose a navy blue and white dress with a navy jacket,matching navy accessories, and a white orchid.After a wedding trip to Key West. Florida, they are residing at Pinecastle Apartments in Perry.REHEARSALMr. and Mrs. Bennie B. Collier of Perry entertained with the rehearsal dinner for the couple at the Colonial Room of the Carriage Inn in Eastman on April 6.Guests were: Rev. and Mrs. T.K. Carroll, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Holder, parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bracewell, all of Eastman: Mr. and Mrs. Otis Kelly of Vidalia. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby King of McRae, Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Holt and David Holt of Hawkinsville; Mr. and Mrs. John Birdsong. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Rentz. Lonnie Cook. Bennie B.
