Melvin a Shaw Wedding Dale Set for June 2Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Shaw of Welda announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Melvina, to Charles W. Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones of Colony.The wedding will take place Sunday June 2 at 2 o’clock at the Kincaid Baptist Church.Miss Shaw is a graduate of Welda High School, Allen County Community Junior College and a 1968 graduate of Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia. She will teach girls* physical education at Eureka next fall.The groom-to-be is a graduate of Colony High School and is employed by George Meyers Construction Company at El Dorado.All friends and relatives of the couple are invited to attend the wedding.
