Rita Beth McCutchen And Larry James Abbott Married Here May 11First Methodist Church in Bronte was the scene for the wedding Saturday, May 11,. of Miss Rita Beth McCutchen to Larry James Abbott. The double ring ceremony was read at 8 p. m. by the Rev. Lin Loeffler, pastor of ‘the church.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. McCutchen of Bronte and Abbott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Abbott, 1822 West Ave 1 in San Angelo.Mrs. Lin Loeffler furnished organ music for the ceremony.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a pale blue tulle street length dress, fashioned with short sleeves, scooped neckline and veil. A pleated skirt furnished a train effect.She wore a blue garter, gift from her maid of honor and the penny in her shoe served for “something old. The white Bible she carried was borrowed and was topped witli a white orchid.Her maid of honor, Lillyth Ed Rogers of Ft. McKavett, was dress-in similar fashion to .the bride except her dress was of darker blue j and her flowers were white roses. Don Abbott of San Angelo served his brother as best man.Members of the immediate families were present for the wed-mngVv Ar .The couple will live at 518 E. 25th Street, San Angelo.Mrs. Abbott is a graduate of Bronte high school and will graduate from San Angelo College on June 2. While in college she has been an officer in Lambda Tau sorority, was freshman favorite, head cheer leader, football sweetheart and was listed in Who’s Who.Mr. Abbott is a graduate of San Angelo high school and served two years in the armed forces. He is in the grocery business in San Angelo.
