MRS. BUSBEENancy Carol WeaverBus bee- WeaverGEORGETOWN - The First Baptist Church in Georgetown was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Miss Nancy Carol Weaver and Mr. Maury Judson Bus-bee. The Rev. Ronald Davis officiated, assisted by the Rev. J. M. Kirkland.The birde is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vince Curtis Weaver of Georgetown. The bridegroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy C. Busbee of Wagener.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white silk organza gown. The bodice was enhanced by appliques of Chantilly lace and featured a high neckline and long sleeves. The full skirt swept into a chapel train and her veil of imported illusion was caught to a cap of lace. Her nosegay was made up of white carnations, white sweetheart roses and baby’s breath.Miss Pamela Miller of Murrell’s Inlet acted as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Tracy A. Houseman of Litchfield Beach.Miss Gwen M. Busbee of Wagener, Mrs. Rodney L. Busbee of Atlanta, Miss Kathy Weaver of North Charleston, Miss Victoria A. Finley of Hawaii and Miss Susan Kertig of Anderson.The attendants wore dresses of pale pink chiffon and carried nosegays of pink and white carnations and baby's breath.The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Rodney L. Busbee of Atlanta, Mr. Curtis Weaver of Georgetown, Mr. Foster H.Yarlbourgh of Columbia, Mr. David Sawyer of Ridge Spring, Mr. James D. West of Columbia and Mr. J.W. Shealy Jr. of Irmo. Junior groomsmen were Mr. Douglas Busbee and Mr. Carter Weaver.A reception followed the ceremony.The bride is attending Columbia College. The bridegroom graduated from Lander College and is employed by Busbee Hardware.
