Rluironey—CrowJey^ Mr. Peter Mulroney and Miss Mary J. Crowley were united in marriage at Assumption church Tuesday morning, slay 21, at seven o’clock, Rev. C. P. Conway officiating. The bride was attended hy her sister, Miss Julia Crowley, and the groom by his cousin. -Mr. Robert Mulroney. A large number of invited friends were at the church to witness the marriage. Many were present from Ruthven, coming over on the sis o’clock train. The wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr; and Mrs. J. P. Crowley, of this city. Anumber of relatives and friends werein attendance. Mr.. and Mrs. Mulroney left during the day for a trip to the 1 win Cities, Winnipeg and Seattle. On their return they will commence housekeeping at Mallard.The bride has lived in Em mats burg almost continuously since childhood. She was educated in St. Mary Academy anu she taught school in our county for a number of years. During the past few years she has been assistant cashier of the Farmers’ Savings bank of Ruthven. No young lady in our county stands higher among those who know her. Her natural and acquired ability, her tact and her many womanly charms have made her numerous and lasting friends. The groom is the junior member of the well known mercantile firm of Mulroney Bros., of Mallard. He stands high among the sterling business men of our county. He is genial and popular and he is prosperous. He is a son of Patrick Mulroney of this city, one of our bounty’s pioneers. In fact both families were among the fi-st residents of Palo Alto. The Democrat joins a wide circle of relatives and friends in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Mulroney health ind happiness.
