Dillon. _•KEWANNA NEWLYWEDS.Return of Couple Met by Hilarious Demonstration.On the return of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Cannon to their home in Kewanna, Wednesday evening, a few hours after they were married in the County Clerk’s oflice, this city, nearly five hundred residents turned out to meet them at the Vandalia depot. -The Newlyweds were hustled into an automobile and a march through main street began. In speaking of the parade, Mr. Cannon described it as a possession ofithe “jlame,old and blind.” Men eighty years of age were in line and enjoyed themselves as much as the youngsters who jumped on the auto. The band led the way and business was suspended during the march.Mr. Cannon is fifty-one years of age, and a prominent hardware merchant. This is his first venture iato matrimony. His bride, Miss Claudia May Barnett, is several years his junior.-N
