Levine of Harlingen and Mrs, Paul Kearns of Beverly Hills and Robert Guterman of Los Angeles. Calif.A mixed array of spring flowers adorned a round gaiebo. and hurricane lamps supported by flower-filled urns lined the aisle and defined the altar.Music was provided by a string quartet* Dr. Thomas Greer. Miss Elda Flores. Miss Norma Cardenas and Mrs. Mary Doneis. with Dr. Robert Osborne at the piano.The bride wore a formal gown of white silk chiffon. The empire bodice featured a wedding band neckline, a one-shouldered draped cape which came together with a bow over the left shoulder, and a soft, flowing A-line skirt with an attached chapel length train.Her chapel length chiffon veil was attached to a chiffon covered coif, accented in the back with three chiffon labs. She carried a bouquet of mixedwhite flowers and greeneryMiss Leslie Levine was her sister s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Janice Brown, Miss Lesley Ronson and Miss Debi Schultz of Los Angeles. Calif.. Miss Holly Harwood of Houston and Miss Janet Murphy of Birmingham. AlaTheir halter neck dresses of white voile had over-skirts of peach and green embroidered handkerchief points and matching capes. They carried bouquets of fresh spring flowers.Alan Guterman of San Jose, Calif., brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Alan Levine of Austin and Ron Levine of Harlingen, brothers of the bride. Richard Barnett of San Diego. Calif., Craig Adler and Steven Worms of Los Angeles. Calif. Junior ushers were Mark and Michael Guterman of Los Angeles, brothers of the bridegroom.The wedding cake was placed in the gazebo during the reception. The three tiers were divided by filigreed columns and decorated with fresh flowers. The groom’s cake was an open law book. Brass scales of justice filled with flowers decorated the groom s table.Grandparents present at the ceremony were Mrs. William Tubor of Beverly Hills, Mrs. Morris Guterman of Los Angeles, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Levine of Harlingen and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Mayers of Athens.Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Abram Zuzowshi of Israel, and guests were present f romv, lt;Mexico. New York. Oklahoma. Louisiana. California. Alabamaand all parts of Texas.After a trip to the Hawaiian Islands of Maui and Oahu the couple will make their home in Santa Monica, Calif.The bride was a 1971 Algodon Queen She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio TV and Film from the University of Texas. She did graduate work at UCLA and is a freelance writer in Los Angeles.Mr. Guterman has a degree in economics from San Diego State University. He attended the University of South Hampton in England and has degrees Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco and a Masters • in Tax from New York University School of law. He is a member of a law firm in Beverly Hills.Among courtesies extended to the bride were a luncheon given in Beverly Hills by the groom’s mother and grandmother; a frozen youghurt party in Santa Monica; a luncheon hoisted by Mrs. Sandra Washmon and Mrs, Robert Dunkin in Harlingen,MRS. BARRY GUTERMANwas, Miss Sheryl Levineand a recipe brunch given by Mrs. George Toland and Mrs. John Ferris.Parties for both the bride and groom included a subpoena party in Santa Monica, a dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. Hill Cocke and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Davis; a Texas Bar-B-Que given by Mr. and Mrs. Neal Bonner, Dr. and Mrs. John Tucker. Mr. Mrs. Henry Knhan.Miss Janet Murphy and Mrs. Vernon Murphy hosted thebridesmaids luncheon at Richards and Mr. and Mrs. Rollins Koppcl entertained guests at the beach house on South Padre Island.The bride’s parents and grandparents hosted a Mexican-style rehearsal dinner around the swimming pool at the Levine residence.*
