Stephens were ostesses for the occasion.The tea table was covered rith a cutwork cloth and an ar-angement of snapdragons,yel-dw roses, and daisies helped arry out the yellow and white olor scheme. The honoree was resented a corsage of yellow ose buds. Candelabra holding hite tapers flanked the flower rrangement.After several games and ad-Ice to the bride-elect, gifts ere presented to the honoree. Cook of Macon and the late Grover Cleveland Polk and the late Mr. and Mrs, Omar Moral Shriner. She is a graduate of Avondale Estates High School and North Georgia College at Dahlonega. She is a member' of the North Georgia Home Economics Club,Miss Polk is employed by the Georgia Department of Education in Atlanta.Mr. Whitley’s grandparents are Mrs. David P. Whitley of Monroe and the late Mr. Whitley and the late Mr. and Mrs, Calvin J. Tate of Monroe. He is a graduate of Monroe Area High School,He will receive his degree from North Georgia College at Dahlonega in June, at which time he will be commissioned a Lieutenant in the United StatesArmy and will enter activeservice in September.A June 29 wedding is planned at Columbia Drive Baptist Church in Decatur, with Rev J.
