Married-Blazkk—Bouska .—In tho Catholic church at Protivln, Iowa, by Rev. Father Broz, May 18, 1897, Mr. Anton Blazek and Miss Mary Bouska, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bouska of Protivin.The marriage ceremony as rendered by Father Broz was very impressive, interspersed as it was with tfco ritual of tho church with rosponsive recitals by the congregation as well as by the candidates for matrimony. After the nuptial knot was tied those present numbering about two hundred, old aud young, repaired to tho homo of tho bride's parents whore an ample feast was spread to which full justico was dono by tho guests und friends of tho family aud of tho brido and groom.The immediate attendants upon the brido and groom during the n a riago ceremony were Frank Stejskal aud Miss Kosa Bouska, Joe Koudeika and Miss llosa Benda, Bohumii Bouska and Miss FruncUca Ilorold, Thomas Pccinovsky and Miss 8. Blazek. An ample bowery was prepared for tho music, in which Jacob Swiatka's bana discoursed aweet mnsie to which merry hearts and light feet joyously tripped away tho fleeting hours. Joseph Pec-inovsky Sen., was master of the ceremonies and gracefully and ettieieutly performed its delicate duties.The Wedding presents were numerous, rich, raro and valuable, showing tho esteem in which brido and groom are held among tbefr friends aud acquaintances. Tho grooin is a young and prosperous larmer near Lawler where they will make their home, und may it be a pleasant and happy one with a lull fruition of the hopos, the joys and pleasures this young couple are looking forward to with such bright anticipations.
