News was disclosed at a dinner in their home.Miss Hastings was presented with two beautiful pink rosebud arrangements from her dinner guests. She is the granddaughter of the late Rex Hastings and Mrs. Rex Hastings of Lakepark, —YorbaLindarandDellSepulveda,Norco.-She is a descendant of Orange County’s old Sepulveda, Yorba and Peralta families, a sixth generation Californian.Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Don Hastings; Mr. and Mrs. James Guinn and daughters, Carol and Terri; Mrs. Rex Hastings Sr.; Arthur Henn of Yorba Linda; Lorie Yorba, Brea; Orlando Yorba, Anaheim; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sepulveda, San Jacinto; Mr. and Mrs. Howard P. Slife and son Howard, and Dell Sepulveda, Norco, along with the Hastings’ family, Rex, Irene, Barbara, Vicky, Ricky, Jimmy and Michael.The bride-elect attended Richard Nixon and Mabel Paine Elementary Schools in Yorba Linda, and went on to El Cerrito, Letha Raney Junior High School and Corona Senior High where she was graduated in 1974. She is now attending Chaffey Junior College in Alta Loma, where she is majoring in professional nursing and is employed by Esperanza Intercommunity Hospital in Yorba Linda.Her fiance is a 1969 graduate of Norco Senior High School and is now attending Chaffey Junior College where he is majoring in natural Resources. He served with the U.S. Army in Viet Nam and West Germany. He is employed by the United States Postal Service.A/July 30 wedding is planned.
