Miss Donna Thissell and Edward CluverJoined in Rites at Presbyterian ChurchThe marriage of Miss DonnaLouise Thissell of Eureka and Edward Joseph Cluver of Treasure Island. San Francisco, took p!ace on April 16 at 7 p.m. inthe First Presbyterian Church in Eureka. The Rev. James M.Brown officiated at the doublering ceremony.The bride is the daughter ofMr. and Mrs. Leland Thissell, of Eureka and the bridegroomis the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cluver, also of Eureka. The bride's father gave her in marriage.Mrs. Emil Sarlund of Scotiawas matron of honor. Other attendants were Miss Martha Hutchison of Cutten. Mrs. CharlesThissell. sister-in-law of thebride, Eureka; George Feder-Icks, SN-USN, Oakland, best man; Jerry Spillman. SN-USN,Treasure Island, usher; Gary Thissell, Eureka, brother of thebride, Albert Nelson, Areata andEmil Sarlund of Ccotia, also serving as ushers.Allen George of Areata, second cousin of the bride was the candlelighter; Denny Thissell, brother of the bride, ring bearer; Jodie Morrison, second cousin of bride, flower girl.The bride wore a gown created of silk organza over taffeta. It was designed with a modified round neckline, moulded bodice and three-quarter length sleeves. The skirt was formal-length with a chapel train and a large bow in back. The front of the dress was accented with pearls and sequins.A fingertip veil of pure silk was held in place by a tiara ofJwfwmt.Mr. and Mrs. Edward Joseph CluverPhillipsGuests from out of town in- Bostem of Petaluma and Mr.eluded Mrs. Harold Cluver ot and Mrs. LeRoy Rafcrty o! Petaluma, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Napa.bride’s attendants wore embossed lace in tones of pink. Their headpieces were white satin roses with bouffant veils.A reception in the HospitalityI'ousc followed the wedding ceremony. The guest book was attended by Mrs. Joseph Thissell, sister-in-law of the bride.The wedding cake was served by Mrs. Kenneth L e w i s and Mrs. Kenneth Buck, an aunt of the bride. Mrs. Jerry Tupa served punch and Mrs. LeRoy Thissell, sister-in-law of the bride, served coffee. Assisting with the gifts was Miss Marjorie Cluver,sister of the bridegroom. Mrs. Ruddy Davi, cousin of the bride. The wedding trip has beenpostponed until the bridegroom finishes his training at Treasure Island. He is attending U.S. Navy electronics school.i '
