Couple Married In Dyer Church Reside in MoneeA wedding ceremony read in St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church, Dyer, Ind., united in marriage Miss Donna Mae Segert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Segert of Dyer. The Rev. George Knapp officiated.White chrysanthemums and carnations decked the altar for the double ring service. Nuptial music included “Because” and “Oh Promise Me.”Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gowr. of white Chantilly lace designed with a Queen Anne collar and a hoop skirt. Her fingertip veil was caught to a beaded headpiece. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.Mrs. Delmar Riechers in a yellow strapless gown featuring a lace jacket served as matron of honor. Dressed similarly in blue was Mrs. Allen Fehland. Honors were awarded and refreshments served.The home is maintained by the 40 and 8 for convalescing veterans, who work at various jobs while regaining their health.Mrs. Irene Wehmhoefer, rehabilitation chairman, had charge of the party. She was assisted by Mrs. Marie Grupp, Mrs. Aleta Nelson, Mrs. Marvel Marthaler and Mrs. Barbara Murphy.guests from Crown Point and Dyer, Ind., Chicago, Harvey, Monee and Beecher.Mrs. Segert wore navy with red and Mrs. Fehland chose navy with white accessories.The couple are at home at 204 Court street, Monee.
