SUMMER HOTELS BURNED.Ridgewood at Kennebunk Beach, Me, Is Gone, The Oaks Damaged, While High Wind Endangered 20 Houses.KENNKBUNKPORT, Me, May 19-The Ridgewood, the largest hotel at Kennebunk beach, was burned at noon today. The Oaks, another smaller house, was also partially destroyed. The efforts of the tire department were without avail in stopping the flames. A high wind was blowing, and at one time 20summer residences were threatened.The Ridgewood was owned by J. Howard Bradley of Malden; loss 130,000, insured for $14,000 The loss on the Oaks, which was owned by Hon R. W, Lord of Kennebunk, is $0000.Nothing was saved from the burned buildings.
