Items are as scarce as honest Rad office-holders, but I will give you such as I have. Joe Pearcy has had a very sick child, but it is somewhat better as I write. James Skaggs, of Illinois, is visiting relatives and friends here. While Dode Ennis was visiting a son-in law, last Sunday, Steve Dean made his appearance on the premises, and carried away one of the girls, to find some one to tie the matrimonial knot for them. On the 11th inst., Joseph Baaly, better known as “Uncle Joe,” celebrated his 80th birth day, with the assistance of numerous friends, wildcalled on him for that purpose. There was one of the nicest dinners, in this connection, that I ever looked upon, and of course I didn’t merelv look atit, but made one of the number whosurrounded all of it they possibly co’d.A Looker On.
