She sent word to her friends, and after a week had passed they came here in search of her. It was learned that she had not reached the college, but this evening a letter from New Orleans was received announcing her marriage in that city to Louis E. Black, a private ir. the regular army. Black was formerly a school teacher In Wirt county and enlisted because of a lover's quarrel with Miss Fought.
