Mary Colby ElectedDirector«%Shoreline BoardMary T. Colby, a Realtor in Branford has recently been elected a- Director of the Shoreline Board of Realtors for a period of 3 years Mi's. Colby also serves on the Multiple Listing Service and is an Associate Member of the New Haven Board. Onthe state level she has recently been appointed to serve as Membership Chairman on the Women’s Council of the Connecticut Association of Real Estate Boards. In1964 she was appointed a Delegate to the International Real EstateConference held in Tel Aviv, Israel, which included a study tour and travel in 13 countries includ-1i11li11lt;iii1j1ing Russia., §.•V . * lt;MARY T. She also studied at the New York School o!IIInterior Decorating, Real Estate at Quinnipiac College, and has taken the Basic M.A.I. Appraisal Course sponsored by the University of Connecticut.Mrs. Colby has been in Real Estate for approximately 12 years having started as Sales Secretary where processing Credit, GI andFHA applications proved to be invaluable later. She was promoted to' Sales Manager and worked in that capacity for several well known construction firms in andaround New Haven. About 6 yearsIago she opened her own Real Estate office on Montowese Street, Branford.Mrs. Colby is an Anglican and attends Christ Church, New Haven. She is also a member of thenewly organized “Beautify Branford’ ’ Group.
