Hunter, Houston, and Harold Wallace Benson, Jr., Port Arthur, formerly of Paris, exchanged wedding vows Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at (he South Main Baptist Church..,€Dr. E. H. Westmoreland, pastor of the church, performed the ceremony before the altar decorated with white roses, gladioli, greenery and candles.The bride’s parents are Mir. and Mrs, James W. Hunter, Houston, and parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs, Harold W. Benson, Port Arthur, formerly of Paris.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an informal gown of cameo flic silk styled in the princess silhouette. The dress featured an oval neckline and short sleeves framed in re-embroidered Alencott lace motifs; the hand run lace motif also defined the front and hick panels of the flaring ballet, length skirt. Her shoulder length veil of. silk illusion fell from a sculptured cap of matching silk and Itoe, and she carried a crescent bouquet of ste* phanotis, white carnations and roses surrounding a white orchid.Miss Anna' Galloway of. Houston and the Canal Zone was maid of honor, and Miss - Catherine KirMand was bridesmaid.They wore identical sheath dresses of aqua lace accented with empire bands and back panels of filmy chiffon in a lighter aqua, and carried crescent bouquets of yellow carnations and roses. Ray Kemp, Amarillo, formerly of Paris, was best man.Ushers were Joe Fagan, Paris, Billy T. Arvitt of Dallas, and Pat Daniel, Alvin.The reception was held at the church immediately following the ceremony. 'The reception room was banked with'floral arrangements of white and greenery surrounded the cake.Houseparty included Mrs. George Woods, Mrs. Walter A. Anderson, Mirs. Beverly H.
