/ Erkeville, May 16.—At the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. Deloss Weils ona AirsThursday, May 12, 1910, was solemnized tne marriage of their onlyaaugnter, luiss i*uoise, to itev, uari Wallace retty of New York. The ceremony was performed hy Rev. Arthtn+ T. Brooks of Grace Baptist church, of New York city in the presence of about eighty relatives and friends of the young couple. The house was prettily decorated with apple blossoms, the ceremony taking place beneath acanopy of evergreens and silver leaves.The bride was charmingly gowned in ivory satin with pearl trimmings. She carried brides roses and her yeil was fastened with rose buds. She waff attended by her sister, Mrs. Harold P. Wells acting as matron of honor. Mrs. Wells was attirred in in her wedding gown and carried a large bouquet of maiden hair ferns. The groom web *attended by Dr. Harold P, Wells of Hamilton. Mr. Philo W. Parker of Morrisville, was .usher. At the appointed time and to the “strains of Lohengrin’s wedding Larch played by Miss Laura Hawksof Rochester, the bridal partyflowerentered the parlor. led by the girl, little Doris Wells of Hamilton, and the ring bearer. Master Wells Ruby of Oneida. The bride wasgiven away by her father. Duringiflthe ceremony which was the beautifuand impressive double ring ceremony Episcopal church, M:of the Episcopal church, Miss Hawks played selections from Mendelssohn, Chopin, and Nevin. Following the congratulations an elaborate wedding breakfast was served by caterer Jenkins of Cazenovia. Many beautiful presents including cut |^a88hand painted and Havalin china, dining room silver and money were received. The bride is one of Erie-ville’s moat popular and accomplished young women and a graduate of Cazenovia 8eminary and of the Rochester Mechanics Institute. The groom is a graduate of the University of Denver, of the Rochester Theological Seminary and Is at present, pastor of Creston Avenue Baptist--church, New York city. A jolly crowd of young people accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Petty to the afternoon train when they left for New York where they will make their future home. Guests were present from New York, Rochester, Syracuse, Baldwinsville, j Batavia, Norwich, Oneida, Canastota, l Georgetown Hamilton and Morrisville.
