WEDNESDAY, MAY 1| Kay and December,t --Bidlt;SIJiasdtlBtlunlt;hflt;nbMiss Blanch Whittam, formerly ,of this city, was united in marriage { Wednesday to Theodore Jaco, of J ^ Shelbyville, the ceremony taking place in that city.Several days ago Mr, Jaco went to the office of Tindall Tindall, his attorneys, and informed them that he was tired of being a widower and asked them to secure him a wife. He wanted a nice young woman and the attorneys set about to accomodate him. He is seventy-eight years of age and the owner of 200 acres of fine land and is said to be worth $40,000.The attorneys found Miss Whit-tarn, who is seventeen years old and quite pretty,and she consented to the marriage. She is an orphan and is welt known here, having been an inmate of the children’s home for several years. She is a sister of Mrs. Delilah smith, who died )a-t week and a grand-daughter of the late George Cowan. Mr. Jaco has several children, who it is said do not take kindly to their young stepmother.Mr. Jaco Is one of the pioneersjof Shelby county, owns two hundred acres of fine land two miles east of Shelbyville and is worth $40,000. He has one daughter and two grandchildren by a daughter who is dead, J who were his only heirs. His present wife is an orphan, and was reared in the childrens’ home of this city. For some time past she has been employed in a Shelbyville hotel as dishwasher.Some time ago Mr. Jaco fc^ld his attorneys, the Messrs. Tyndall, that he was old and feeble, and he believed he would get married, if he could find a woman who suited him. The Messrs.
