DCHS ATHLETE AWARD — D o x i eMoore, ritfht, presented a plaque for Delphi Community High School to Arthur O. Weddell, superintendent, last week in memory of his late coach, Paul Lost utter. Known as the Lostutter Memorial Athlete of the Year Award, it . will go each year to the outstanding? Oracle athlete, whose name will be engraved on the plaque, which reads “Givenby Doxie Moore - class of 1930 - in honor of his hitfh school coach, Paul Lostutter, Delphi coach 1927-34, whose teams were the first to win their way to the state basketball tournament’s Sweet 16, 1928-30 and 32.” Moore was a member of the 1928 and 1930 teams before Koinj? to Purdue in 1930-31 where he lettered in football and basketball for three consecutive years.
