TO FORM LABEL LEAGUEWomen Union Worker* Will Organize Auxiliary Association.Th© formation of a Women's UnionLabel League, an organ!ration composed exclusively of women union workers of Joplin, will be completed at the next semimonthly meeting of the Joplin Trades Assembly, to be held on Thursday, th© 2f»th. A committee of four appointed at the last meeting of the Trades Assembly have been working all week on the plans and have matters so arranged that they will he able to give a satisfactory report at the meeting.The new organization will be limited to women union workers of Joplin only. It Is not to be a branch of the Trades Assembly, but will be entirely Independent, having a separate organization and separate meetings.The need of a union organization in Joplin for Tvomen has been felt for some time, as the women and girl workers of the city ar© not organized in any way and cannot ask a uniform wage. The committee in charge of th© organization has secured the names of many female employes of the city who are Interested In the formation of such a union and report that they meet with enthusiasm at every place they go.
