Rodgers officiated at the double ring ceremony. Organist, Mrs. Nowak, Bristol, accompanied the vocalist, Mrs. Betty Barner, Croydon, who sang Ave Marie” and Mother At Thy Feet Is Kneeling.”The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of chantilly lace and tulle featuring a Peter Pan collar and long sleeves. The gowm had iridescent sequins lt;tp the front, puffs of accordian pleated tulle on both ;s sides and two panels of chantilly ] lace in the front. The chapel af train was of tulle and had sequins Is trimmed in the pattern of flow-e- j ers.| She carried a bouquet of white orchids and stephanotis and pre-'sented a bouquet of carnations | with a white satin bow at the j Blessed Mother altar. She wore a cap of tulle and chantilly lace which came to a V with a pearl on her forehead and had a raised crown of pearls. It held a scalloped fingertip veil in place.Maid of honor was Miss Frances E. Serchak. sister of the bride, Croydon. Bridesmaids were Miss Betty Reyes, sister of the groom, Pelham; Miss Pat Riley, Croydon and Mrs. Irene WTard, Bristol. Miss Theresa Domanski, Berlin, N.J., was the flower girl.IThe maid of honor and bridesmaids were attired in full length strapless powder blue gowns of nylon organdy featuring matching jackets and blue taffeta bows at the tops of the gowns. They wore blue sequin crowns with veils. The maid of honor carried a bouquet of white carnations and blue daisies and the bridesmaids carried bouquets of blue carnations and white daisies. The flower girl wore a full length powder blue eyelet gown featuring a blue taffeta cummerbund and puffed sleeves. She wore a crown of blue daisies and carried a miniature bouquet identical to the maid of honor's.Frank O'Leary, Pelham, served as best man. Ushers were John O’Connor, Pelham; William E. Serchak, brother of the bride, stationed at West Point with the Army; Charles Beneway, Pelham and Jack Lazo, Trenton, N.J.The bride's mother chose for the wedding a pink dress, black accessories and an orchid corsage. The groom’s mother wore a blue dress, silver accessories and an orchid corsage.A reception was held at 6 p.m., at the Bristol American Legion Hall, for 150 guests.The couple will reside at 14 Madison St., Mt. Vernon, N Y. The bride is a graduate of Bristol High School and was employed at Rohm and Haas, Bristol.
