Marlene Boell Becomes Bride of Roland HeutonMarlene Boell, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Floyd Boell of Carroll, and Roland Heuton, son of Mr, and Mrs. Clarence Heuton of Carroll, were married in a candlelight service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church here at 7:30 Sunday evening.The Rev, Paul Bergmann performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with bouquets of white gladioli. Mrs. Otto Wittkopp, organist, played “Marche Nuptiale“ by Walter Sassmanns-hausen as the processional and “Marche Triumphant ” by the same composer as the recessional.During the service, Carlene Skinner, cousin of the bridegroom, sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and Today, O Lord.”The candles were lighted by Norman Wenck and Paul Frieke, cousins of the bride..* * *A chapeMength gown of Schiffli embroidered net over satin was worn by the bride, who was given in marriage by her father. Wide bands of embroidery encircled the full skirt and added charm to the cap sleeves. Her fingertip veil was caught to a crown of orange blossoms made of pearls. She wore long net mitts and carried a white Bible topped with an orchid andlilies-of-the-valley.Ushers were William Boell and Don Boell, brothers of the bride, and Dennis Heuton, brother of the bridegroom.Completing the wedding party was the flower girl, Cheri Lynn Heuton, niece of the bridegroom. The mothers of the bride andgroom wore navy dresses. Mrs, Boell’s accessories were navy and1white and Mrs. Heuton's, pink and white.* * ♦The ceremony was followed by a reception for 200 guests in the church parlors. Pink and green candles in a large white candle cross and bouquets of spring flowers decorated the bridal table. Above the table was a pink satin heart with white wedding bell, orange blossoms and streamers.Mrs. Duane Heuton cut the bride’s cake and Mrs. Dennis Heuton presided at the coffee service, Peggy ^lessington, Geraldine Winn, Jeannette Skinner and Lit-etta Johnson served.♦ * *Marjory Parks was in charge of the guest book.*Mrs. William Boell and Mrs. Don Boell were at the gift table.* * *Others assisting at the reception were Mrs. Louise Kurth, Mrs. Her-men Huebner, Mrs. Darrell BlackMrs. Don Bushman, friend of-and Dorothy Grundmeier.the bride, was matron of honor, and Ella Mae Boell, cousin of the bride, bridesmaid. The matron of honor wore a pink net gown with ruffled skirt and net cape. Her sweetheart net hat and net mitts matched her costume. The bridesmaid was attired in similar design, completely in spring green. Both carried colonial bouquets of carnations in contrasting pink and green.Roger Heuton was best man for his brother, Duane Heuton, another brother, was groomsman.♦ * +Mr. and Mrs. Heuton, who will take a week’s trip in the south, will live at 326 North Court Street, For her going-away costume the bride has a gray and pink dress with pink faille duster and white accessories,* * *The bride was graduated from Carroll High School in 1954 and the bridegroom, in 1953. Mr. Heuton is bookkeeper for McBride’s Feed and Mrs. Heuton is secretary in the law offices of A, N. Neu.
