On Saturday, April 24, Miss Beverly Ann Meinert became the bride of Bruce Wayne Miller at Ichthus Chapel in Plankin ton, S. C. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Meinert of Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Miller, Freeport Route 3. Rev. Ramon A. Runkel, form er pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Durand, performed the double-ring ceremony. Mrs. Ramon Runkel was the soloist and sang two selections. She was accompanied at the piano by Miss Joanne Johnson. In Floral Setting Candles, pink azaleas and an Easter lily decorated the church. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white dress made with a bodice of lace with long sleeves and Sweetheart neckline and a taf feta skirt with controlled full ness. A headpiece of pearls and sequins secured her short veil, and she carried an arm bouquet of long stemmed roses. With Dior Bow Her maid of honor, Miss Caro lyn Meinert, wore a cotillion blue shanting dress with a matching Dior bow headpiece. She had a corsage of white gladioli. Danny Miller, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. A reception was held on May 2 at the Davis Community Building. The serving table was centered with the tiered cake, trimmed with pink roses and blue forget-me-nots, topped with a miniature bride and groom figurine. Assist At Reception Those assisting at the recep tion were Mines, Glen Schultz, Robert Stuckey, Rial Ballard and David Sloan. Also helping were Misses Nellie Anderson, Lois McCarthy, Ruth Ann Miller and Cynthia Schadewaldt. Mr. Miller was graduated from Freeport High School. He is employed by the Twin Disc Clutch Co. in Rockford. The new Mrs. Miller was graduated from Dakota High School and is employed in the shipping department at Micro Switch. The newlyweds will make their home near Davis.
