That little god of love, Cupid, is still casting his arrows around Oak, four miles north of Ocala. A perfect marriage epidemic has struck that burg during the past few months, and now nearly all the marriageable youths and maidens have plighted their truth. ‘The latest marriage at Oak took Place Sunday night at half past seven o'clock, at the bride’s home, when the Rev. N. B. Plummer of Anthony united 4th marriage Miss Carlee Carpenter and Mr. Charles F. Butts. The ceremony was performed in the parlor, which was very prettily decor ated with honeysuckle, roses and @erns, and the ceremony was witness ed by the relatives of the young cou ple, and a number of their friends, @everal going out from Ocala. The bride was prettily attired in white striped satin, with a face over @regs, and she carried Marechal Niel roses. Following the marriage there was an informal reception, during which fice cream and cake were served. Mr. and Mrs. Butts will reside at @ak. They have the congratulations and good wishes of many friends.
