May 13th, at the residence of Dr L. G. Thompson, J. L. Stratton of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Miss Oalleta Thompson of this city were united in marriage. Rev Hewitt of Peoria (an unole of the bride) performing the rite. About 75 of the intimate friends of the family witnessed the event. The bride la a talented, refined and accomplished lady. The groom we have not the fortune to be acquainted wltn, but believe him to be deserving of the prize he has won. Mr Stratton Is extensively engaged in the lumber trade In Kalamazoo.
