Harrell officiating, May 10 at 1 p.m.The bride was attired in a mimosa yellow gabardine suit with accessories of black and her corsage was fashioned of seasonalflowers. Attending Mrs. Brownellwas Mrs. Benjamin Birdsongwhose navy blue and white street dress was accented with matching accessories.Mrs. Brownell, a native Sara-sotan and a member of a pioneerFloridian family, is the manager of the Florida State Employment Service. Her husband isthe son of the late J. D. Brownell, president of Northland College, Ashland, Wis., for 25 years. A graduate of Northland, and a veteran of World War II, Mr. Brownell came to Florida in 1938 and is the v veterans’ employment representative in the Florida State Employment Service in Bradenton.Mr. and Mrs. Brownell werehonored at two receptions Sunday at the J. H. Tucker residenceand at the home of the groom in Anna Maria.They will reside at 811 Wind sor Avenue, Indian Beach.
