With the arrival of the girls in costume, representing the roses, the Scotch lassies, Spanish dancers, poppies and the May Pole dancers came the two pages, Misses Tun ice Wysong and Madge Howard wearing dresses of white with large yellow bows and yellow and white huts.They were followed by Miss Mary Lola I truce who was crowned queen by Miss Nell Shannon. The throne at the north end of the gymnasium was hanked with potted plants with white streamers hung from above. At tip* foot of the throne sat little Maxim* Wyeth and Harold Smefoer, train bearers of the queen. The gymnasium was decorated with blooming brunches and the west side of the room was partially covered with a large American flag.At the sound of the bugle blown by Miss Howard, one of the pages, dances were given by each of the different groups of girls. An especially clever dance was the clown dance by Misses Cyrene Blackman and Madge Carr.
