WEDDINGSCain—Spurrier.A quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Spurrier, Mt. Airy, on Wednesday evening, May 5, when j their daughter, Miss Bertha May, became the bride of Mr. William J. Cain, son of Mrs. Margaret Cain. The ceremony was performed by Rev. I William T. Cover, of Mt. Airy, in the presence of the two immediate famil- j ies. The bride was attired in white net over white satin trimmed in white ribbon. Her veil was held in place by white sweet peas and she carried white carnations. She was attended by her niece, Ada D. Thompson, Baltimore, who wore white lace over w'hite silk, pink girdle, and carried pink carnations. The groom was attended by J. Bromwell Spurrier, brother of the bride. After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s parental home.
