Harper Cook, undertakers, had five funerals to attend at once on Thursday.—Mrs. Carl Wolf died at her home in this place Wednesday.—A very interesting little girl of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Charton died Tuesday evening.— It is fgenerally believed and currently reported that an election was held in our town last Monday to elect a new set of town officers. Of course the Democracy triumphed, but by the smallestmajority they ever had at a town election. The majority ran anywhere fromthirty-three to thirty-nine, apd not a Republican vote east.
